Acts of the Apostles 10: 42-43 (Peter talking about Jesus) “He commissioned us to preach to the people and testify that He is the One appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead. To Him all the prophets bear witness, that everyone who believes in Him will receive forgiveness of sins through His Name.”
Acts of the Apostles 10: 48-49 He (Peter) ordered them (Cornelius and friends- Gentiles) to be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ. Then they invited him to stay for a few days.
Acts of the Apostles 15: 14-17 Symeon (Simon Peter) has described how God first concerned Himself with acquiring from among the Gentiles a people for His Name. The words of the prophets agree with this, as it is written: (Amos 9: 11-12) ‘After this I shall return and rebuild the fallen hut of David; from its ruins I shall rebuild it and raise it up again, so that the rest of humanity may seek out the LORD, even all the Gentiles on whom My Name is invoked.
